Arranging a consultation call

Before launching your publisher programme, it’s imperative you have a consultation call with the network or, if you’re an agency, with the client and network. This will allow you to define the key aims and goals of the programme. These could include:

  • What KPIs do you want to reward?  
  • How much do you want to pay?  
  • What publisher types would you like to work with?  
  • And confirmation of your terms and conditions.  

During the call you’ll also be advised of industry best practices. Such as the types of linking methods required, banners, text links, product catalogues (data feeds), etc. 

To reiterate, the most important goal of this call is set out the strategic aims for the affiliate marketing activity so your network or agency can advise on the best publishers and campaign tactics that will underpin your strategy.
