What are CTR and CR?
Click Through Rate (CTR)
CTR is Click Through Rate. It measures the effectiveness of any advertisement. It is calculated by using the simple formula below:
Example:
A campaign having 728×90 ad has served 10,000 impressions and has generated 100 clicks, so what will the CTR be of that ad?
By using the metrics above:
CTR = (100 / 10,000) x 100 = 1%
1% CTR means that for every 100 impressions there is one click.
Conversion rate (CR)
To calculate conversion rate, we use a simple formula:
So, if 20 conversions have been made in a thousand impressions, the conversion rate will be the following:
CR = (20 / 1,000) x 100 = 2%
